Before reading these instructions be sure that the following prerequisites are met:
An etherFAX account and access to the etherFAX Client portal at https://clients.connect.etherfax.net.
Instructions
How to request a new toll-free or DID/toll-number
Sign into the Client portal at https://clients.connect.etherfax.net.
On the left-hand side select Assigned DIDs.
Then click + Add Dids in the upper-right corner:
Choose the type of number you wish to add on the next page, and fill out the form, and click Submit Request when complete.
The etherFAX LNP team will reach out to you and follow up with you to complete this request.
You have now successfully placed your new fax number request!
Ending Notes and Details
Please be mindful that ports can vary in time to complete. Ultimately it is dependent on that of the “losing carrier” to forfeit the number which may expedite the process.
If you wish to request more than one number, make a note in the Comments/Special Requests section of the form before submitting your request.
