This tutorial details how to check outbox items in the etherFAX client portal.
These items show jobs in the outbox stage of being submitted. This means that they are jobs that have not yet finished and do not reflect jobs that have finished the sending process.
Before reading these instructions be sure that the following prerequisites are met:
An etherFAX account and user with access to the client portal at https://clients.connect.etherfax.net.
How to check for outbox items
Sign into the client portal at https://clients.connect.etherfax.net.
On the left-hand navigation bar you will see Outbox directly underneath DASHBOARD. Click on Outbox.
Anything seen on this page will show items not yet fully submitted. They are in the process and can still fail, or succeed. This section will usually be empty, but if your account faxes a lot you may see activity. Much like an inbox item, you will see details about page count, the dialed number, and so on:
To confirm a job has finished its attempt, you can use the refresh button to see if the job is no longer stuck in the outbox queue. You can also use the filter to help narrow on particular items:
