This tutorial explains how to view the status for the DirectFax channel or application.


Prerequisites

Before reading these instructions be sure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • Microsoft Teams with DirectFax added to either the user or to a specific channel (enrolled by the same user attempting to get the status).

How to get device status

  1. In a channel with DirectFax added, or in the DirectFax app itself in Microsoft Teams, go to the message field and type “@DirectFax get device status” (or “get device status” if you are in the app itself). Then submit the command:
